This class offers the chance to experience mindfulness in motion with practice in breath work, progressive posture flows, and deep relaxation. Each class offers a different sequence of postures and is tailored to the groups’ needs.
Sessions are designed to groove patterns of skillful movement. It’s great for students who have an established practice and who are looking for a more advanced class. Although postures aren’t super physically demanding, they are taught with extra emphasis on body awareness which can be difficult for beginners to grasp. Engagement of bandas, and integrative forces are described as we flow through postures. Self inquiry skills, yogic philosophy and evidence for potential benefits of practice are also taught.
