5 Week Yoga Nidra Series

Join us for 5 weeks of Yoga Nidra every Tuesday in October. Yoga Nidra is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping. In this powerful state, whatever we resolve to take place in our life is bound to happen. It is an ancient mind-body therapy that often brings immediate physical benefits, such as reduced stress and better sleep, and has the potential to heal psychological wounds. As a daily meditation practice, it can engender a profound sense of joy and well-being.

Kimberly has been studying yoga (pranayama and asanas) for 16 years under her teacher Hamsa Newmark. Recently, she received her 200 RYT teacher training in Bali from Santosha Yoga Institute where the focus was on the 8 Limbs of Yoga and followed the lineage of Sri T Krishnamacharya. During her training she gained the skills to teach safe and engaging classes to share her love of yoga with the world. Off the mat she enjoys chess, mountain bike riding, hiking, reading, contemplative prayer, tennis and most of all being with her friends and family. “Yoga is not just a series of postures, it is a deeply transformative tool that brings about real growth to empower you to move through life with great joy, passion and ease.” ~ Kim
