Alexander Chase Lashley (He/They)

Intern

Chase is currently completing his MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Arkansas. With a strong commitment to evidence-based practice and a compassionate approach, Chase is committed to providing comprehensive and inclusive mental health care that addresses not just symptoms but the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Having a deep-rooted passion for understanding the complexities of human experience, Chase has invested years in academic and practical training and is working towards a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. With a particular interest in the neurobiological underpinnings of trauma and stress, Chase is committed to integrating the latest clinical insights into personalized treatment. This rigorous educational background is complemented by a rich tapestry of prior investigative work, life experiences, and hobbies. An avid reader and artist, Chase brings a creative perspective to the therapeutic relationship and in strategies to facilitate mental well-being. Chase practices from an existential psychotherapeutic modality and an Internal Family Systems (IFS) framework, but ultimately recognizes that simply being present and holding space is the bedrock of authentic healing. Chase has experience in working with people from varied intersectional identities and seeks to include a systems perspective for critical support for marginalized communities and individual empowerment. Chase recognizes that no person is an island and that only through connection to others can we better understand our context, and subsequently, ourselves. Chase would be privileged to work with you as you undergo your healing journey.
