200-hour Yoga Teacher Training

THIS FOUNDATIONAL 200-HOUR YOGA TEACHER TRAINING IS DESIGNED FOR ANYONE THAT IS READY TO STEP INTO THEIR POWER AS A YOGA TEACHER AND HOLD SPACE FOR THE HEALING THAT COMES FROM CONNECTING TO ALL ASPECTS OF ONESELF THROUGH MOVEMENT, BREATH AND AWARENESS. WE AIM TO UNITE THE ANCIENT ART OF YOGA WITH MODERN DAY SCIENCE TO BRING YOU A WELL-ROUNDED APRROACH TO TEACHING YOGA.

THIS TRAINING COMBINES YOGA, NEUROSCIENCE & SOMATICS TO PROVIDE YOU WITH THE SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE TO SHARE YOUR PRACTICE WITH OTHERS AND MAKE A POSITIVE IMPACT ON YOUR COMMUNITY.

Neuroscience

Deepen your understanding of the way the nervous system works and how it is affected by different yogic practices. Learn to apply these concepts to your teaching style.

Yoga

Learn the history, philosophy and practice of yoga including asana, pranayama (breathwork) and meditation. This training has an emphasis on teaching hatha vinyasa with a trauma informed approach.

Somatics

Discover somatic principles and tools to support you and your clients/students along the journey of healing and how it relates to yoga.

Core Curriculum + Breakdown of Hours

Techniques, Training & Practice - 75 hours

Asana | alignment | modifications | contraindications | use of props | hands on adjustments/assists | pranayama | meditation |  mantra | sanskrit | somatic tools & principles

Yoga Humanities - 30 hours

history of yoga | lineage | philosophy | major yogic texts | self-inquiry | journaling | ethics of yoga | Yoga sutras | 8 limbs of yoga | yamas &  niyamas

Professional Essentials - 50 hours

teaching tools & methodology | sequencing | cueing | voice activation | seat of the teacher | scope of practice | business of yoga | practicum (practice teaching) + exam

Anatomy & Physiology - 30 hours

applied anatomy | biomechanics | nervous system | polyvegal theory | energy body & chakra system

*remaining 15 hours will be applied to classes outside of the training schedule

  • 200 hour Yoga teacher certification accredited through yoga alliance

  • comprehensive manual

  • 27+ yoga classes + 4 month membership to day by day yoga classes

  • personal development and practice to support you as you support others

  • $ 3,400 paid in full by July 11

  • $3,500 paid in full before September 1st

  • $3,600 with a payment plan, see application for more details

  • $500 deposit due upon acceptance into the program to reserve your spot. This will be applied to your total tuition and is non-refundable
