Mental Health Therapist

Kelsey is a Licensed Certified Social Worker, Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist, Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional, Brainspotting clinician, and Registered Yoga Teacher. Kelsey is passionate about creating a safe and stable space for people on their journey to find meaningful and sustainable healing. She uses a capacity-based, person-centered approach to build confidence, hope, and freedom of choice. She has a joy for learning and finds purpose in removing shame and stigma by empowering clients with education on how their physiology affects their psychology. Her areas of focus include anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. Based on her client’s needs, Kelsey practices a variety of treatment modalities, including Brainspotting - a modality that uses the visual field to access the trauma stored in the deeper parts of the brain that focuses on survival and regulation. Valuing a salutogenic approach to healing, she incorporates bodyfulness practices so her clients can remain calm enough to benefit from therapy throughout the healing process. Kelsey received her Master of Social Work at the University of Oklahoma and has experience working with all ages in various community settings.She enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, practicing yoga, reading, and engaging with the Northwest Arkansas community.
