Lizy Humphrey, LPC (she/her)


Mental Health Therapist

Lizy is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Arkansas and Georgia and is currently working on her PhD in Counselor Education and supervision at the University of Arkansas. Lizy received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Lee University and Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lincoln Christian University. Lizy moved to Arkansas in 2023 from Georgia, where she had worked at Augusta University Student Counseling Center for over 6 years as a counselor, outreach coordinator, and most recently as Assistant Director. Lizy engages with clients from a trauma informed, person centered, embodiment focused approach. Lizy believes that safety and trust are key to any relationship and works to establish a safe place for clients of all backgrounds. Lizy is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Level II, meaning she has extensive training in understanding complex and developmental trauma. Lizy is interested in working with all clients, with a special interest in college students, religious trauma, and spiritual abuse. Additionally, Lizy is a strong advocate for body size inclusive approaches to health and wellness. In her free time, Lizy enjoys camping, hiking, playing board games, and enjoying NWA with her husband and son.
